ITT says being investigated by SEC over private loan programs Feb 25th 2013, 15:07 Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:07am EST (Reuters) - ITT Educational Services Inc (ESI.N) said it was being investigated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission about its private student lending programs, sending its shares down as much as 14 percent. ITT, a for-profit education provider which runs the ITT technical institutes and Daniel Webster College, said it had received a subpoena on February 8 and was cooperating with the agency, a regulatory filing showed on Friday.
