Shares of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group Ltd, the world's biggest jewellery retailer by market value, fell more than five percent on November 30, 2012 after posting a disappointing slump in six-month profit due to slower sales and hedging loss. The stocks, which rose 5.4 percent on Thursday prior to the release of the earnings, fell to as low as HK$10.30, down 5.2 percent. That lagged a 0.2 percent gain in the benchmark Hang Seng Index.
